Lisa Howard Intern: Lisa Howard (she/her/hers) is an intern and a graduate student at University of Chicago’s School of Social Service Administration (SSA) where she is pursuing a Master’s in Social Work. Lisa has served in several positions in informal after school programs including Experiential Educator at North Shore Congregation Israel and Coordinator of Educational Programs and Operations at BJBE. In these roles, she developed curriculum; planned, organized, and executed programs, and aided students with their social-emotional needs. Lisa is the author of four books used widely in Jewish after school programs for training teen leaders, new teachers, and b’nai mitzvah students. Lisa holds a Master’s in Education from American Jewish University and a Bachelor’s in Education from Northwestern University.
