David Lee (he/him/his) is an intern at IOFA Chicago office. He is currently attending the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration to pursue AM (equivalent to MSW) with administration concentration. He’s a graduate research assistant at Dr. Miwa Yasui’s lab in University Chicago, conducting qualitative research on mental health service engagement of ethnic minority community members. Previously, David was a graduate intern at the Thresholds where he provided direct service to members through case management, job support, housing support, and psycho-social rehabilitation services in the community. David’s interested in using micro and macro social work lens to study the intersection of disability and trafficking.
