Emma Fox

Emma Fox (she/her/hers) is an MPH candidate at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Public Health with a concentration in Maternal and Child Health. She is a current member of the UIC LEND program as a family trainee and research assistant. Previously, Emma was a graduate intern at Illinois Birth Justice where she conducted a community needs assessment of pregnant and parenting women in the carceral system in Chicago and an Irving Harris research assistant where she assisted in the creation of a curriculum for gender-based violence in transiently-employed populations across Chicago. She brings 5+ years of clinical and translational research experience, as well as a joint feminist- and disability-practice lens to this team.
