Nina Misra

Nina is a second year Masters of Public Health student at the University of Illinois School of Public Health, Center for Excellence in Maternal and Child Health. Her studies focus primarily on needs assessments, program planning, and program evaluation at the community level. Prior to starting her studies at UIC, Nina worked at a community-based art therapy program in Maine and a residential group home for teens in Massachusetts, and currently works at a web-based mental health resource. She received her Bachelors of Science in English, with minors in Public Health and Biology at Boston University. In the future, Nina hopes to continue to work in adolescent health with an intersectional lens.
