The International Organization for Adolescents (IOFA) together with Courtney’s House has been selected by the United States Department of Justice, Office of Violence Against Women (OVW) to provide Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) to OVW Grantees across the United States on issues related to the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC).

The goal of this project is to increase the capacity of organizations across the country to prevent, identify, and assist youth sex trafficking victims. As a result of this increased capacity, more trafficked children and youth will be identified and referred for trauma-informed services.

Tina Frundt opened Courtney’s House in 2008 and has made it an award-winning, survivor-led, direct service and awareness organization.

The mission of OVW, a component of the U.S. Department of Justice, is to provide federal leadership in developing the national capacity to reduce violence against women and administer justice for and strengthen services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking.
