Nicole Warder
Human Trafficking and Disabilities Programs Intern
Nicole is currently a second year Master’s dual-degree student at the University of Chicago’s School of Social Service Administration and Harris School of Public Policy. Her studies specifically focus on international violence prevention and program evaluation. Prior to joining IOFA, Nicole worked on a Communities That Care community violence prevention project in the Bronzeville neighborhood of Chicago. She also worked as a Team Lead at a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility for youth, working to stabilize and support students who have experienced trauma and mental illness. She received a Bachelors of Arts at Eckerd College where she focused on the fields of Psychology and East Asian studies. In the future, Nicole hopes to continue her work on reducing and preventing violence on a wider scale.
